Hello my faithful readers, I have returned. I survived another semester, and with that, I enter my senior year. Like what? That doesn't even seem real. Every graduation photo I saw had me doing a happy dance because I realized that was going to be me next year. That also strikes fear into my heart, but we're not going to think about that part, k?
Anywho, now that school is done, and women's conference did its damage at the Pack'nShip, life has settled into a weird calm. It's not quite warm enough to officially call it summer, but my mindset is completely there. I can't say I'm complaining. I get to visit Idaho for Mother's Day, I have gotten a lot of sleep this week, and I am reading books just for the fun of it again!
Here's some pictures of my life lately that describe better than I have words to. :)

As a ward, we had the opportunity to go to the Payson Temple Open House. Guys. It's so beautiful. If you live even slightly close enough to be able to make it, I would definitely suggest going. It was magnificent. It was a beautiful reminder of the promise of eternal families. Going to the temple, even when it hasn't been dedicated, is a nice way to refocus myself spiritually and reevaluate what I need to be doing to bring myself closer to making those sacred covenants and bringing myself closer to Heavenly Father.

So sometimes best friends are the most crucial people on the entire planet. Real fact: when I saw this sitting on my kitchen counter and saw who it was from, actual tears sprung forth from my eyes. Another reminder of what's important in life (not cupcakes--people are important, but cupcakes are deeply important as well).

The Provo sky was putting on a show for me the other day. It would have been rude to not take a picture of it.
|
I've started painting again! I hadn't done anything in ages, so Sunday night I spent some time with my paper and paint. This quote is my jam lately. It's just so good.
Life is just real good right now. We get to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend, so grab your nearest mother figure and just give her a big ole hug. She'll love it.
love, BK
